Vision, Values and Ethos

"Nurturing potential, Inspiring minds, excellence for all"

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide an excellent, well-balanced, academic education within a supportive, close and caring village community. West Wycombe School is a place of endless possibility and boundless ambition, where children are at the centre of all we do. We believe that a happy child is a successful one and if children believe, they can achieve. We have uncompromising aspirations for every individual in the pursuit of excellence. We will nurture and support for every child holistically in order to achieve their full potential across all aspects of the curriculum.

We will impart high moral values, develop respect and tolerance, and a caring and understanding approach to others. Children learn to value themselves and those around them, respecting spiritual, moral, social and cultural differences in the world in which they live.

We foster a belief that each member of staff is a valuable cog in the wheel of education. We aim to invest in our staff through offering ongoing CPD and encouraging links with other school networks to share excellent practice. We also actively encourage parents to have a positive interest, to recognise their value. We strive to continue to be at the heart of our village community with positive links to the wider communities.
