Hello and welcome to West Wycombe School! We are a small, village primary school with a team of caring and engaging staff whose aim is always to give children the best experiences possible.  Our motto, "Nurturing potential, inspiring minds, excellence for all" informs all that we do, from the opportunities that we provide for our children to the training opportunities that we provide for all of our staff. 

Making sure that we provide beyond the National Curriculum, such as through our forest school provision, is a key part of who we are and the steps that we take to make sure that all our children are well-prepared for the next stage of their academic lives and that they develop the skills to become valued and important members of society.

West Wycombe School was judged as being at the Expected Standard in six of the seven areas assessed by Ofsted in our inspection in February 2026.  The report recognised and celebrated the relationship between our amazing staff and our wonderful pupils:

Our aspirational curriculum promotes high expectations for all our children, as well as ensuring that they receive a well-rounded offer and embed a lifelong love of learning in all.
